The Greenwood GTO Rear Bumper (#GTOR) is a blend of distinctive styling and aerodynamic function. Designed for use on the street, the GTO Rear Bumper has an optimum balance for maximum downforce with minimum drag. The shape has also proven itself effective under the extreme demands of competition. Approved for use in both the Trans Am and IMSA road racing series in 1982, the Greenwood GTO Rear Bumper was used on the 200+mph high banking of Daytona when John broke the GTO lap record. Mouse over for closeup Extreme care was taken to ensure the closest possible fit between the Greenwood bumper flange and stock Corvette rear surround, allowing the bumper to bolt on in place of the '74-'82 stock rear bumpers. The Greenwood trademark is distinctly inset on the rear surface, and will serve to separate the innovators in Corvette designs from the imitators.
