The High Rise Hood provides fresh air to your engine's induction system or engine compartment. Some customers are using the Hood for clearance for higher than stock engine intake combinations. The High Rise Hood is a "blister" that bolts/epoxies in place and adds approximately 2-1/2" of height to your existing hood.

Our Hoods come as either a twin-nostril or closed-nose design. Although the twin-nostril design comes closed to simulate a ram-air type hood, the nostrils can be easily cut open to allow fresh air into the engine compartment and/or air filter. The twin-nostril design requires cutting two holes in your hood.

Depending on your needs, the High Rise Hood can be made functional by opening the nostrils for a cool air induction or simply for a cool air supply to the engine compartment. The rear of the Hood can also be opened up for heat extraction or cowl induction. By manipulating the nose, hood and cowl openings, you will have the ability to control the amount of air into, over and out of your engine compartment. When used along with our G4 Hood Louvers, your C4 will experience the ultimate in cool air management.
