Rear Wings

The GT Greenwood Corvettes introduced the use of functional spoilers on street cars in 1975. And the often imitated Greenwood signature wing for the C4 model has outsold all the others combined. No one is able to match Greenwood styling with true aerodynamic function. The G4 Series wings represent an improvement in both form and function. They provide almost twice the downforce and stability over the original signature wing with very little increase in drag. With typical attention to functionality, the new rear wing is mounted to the frame to transfer downforce directly to the chassis. Installation does not require removal of the rear bumper. The G4R Wing measures 64" long, 15-1/2" wide, 8" tall and measures 4-1/2" from the deck to the bottom of the wing. The G4R Wing weighs 16 pounds. The G4RS Wing measures 63-1/2" long, 14" wide, 8" tall and measures 4-1/2" from the deck to the bottom of the wing. The G4RS Wing weighs 15 pounds. For super-high performance applications where sustained speeds exceed 150mph, ask us about our Super Wings. We can custom build a G4R or RS Wing with Kevlar cloth and foam cores which adds considerably to the stiffness of the wing. Weighing approximately 5 pounds less, our Super Wings are at least six times stronger than our regular wings.
