Our Side Rockers are functional at lower speeds in that they help direct air flow from under the car outward. The contoured undersides creates a low pressure area, resulting in downforce applied to the center of the car. At the same time, our rockers are also slightly inclined towards the rear of the car, acting as an airfoil. The G5 Side Rockers use factory Z06 brake vent and duct kits to improve cooling to the rear brakes. Z06 cars use the existing brake ducts and are located in the same position. Corvettes other than the Z06 have the option to be updated to the Z06 brake vents and ducts when installing the G5 Side Rockers.
